The movie starts showing a man. His name is "Spiderwick". He has written a book based on his experiences with the fairies. He had saved his experiences in this book . He closes this book and seals it. Mysterious and strange voice begin to come after sealing. He looks around but witnesses no one. The scene changes to the time after 80 years. There was no one in that house where "Spiderwick" used to live . It was desolated so a lady comes to reside there. That lady has 1 daughter and twin sons named "Jared and Simon". They observe the spread salt in the house as they enter. There were many awkward things in this house. "Jared" feels on a night that some voices are coming from a wall. He begins to crack that wall. But her mother forbids him , coming there. She says, Don't act as such! Jared's sister had also approached there. But she also begins to hear the voices from the wall. She is very frightened and cracks the wall while fearing. She witnesses many things behind the wall. Many things belonged to her. There were also some lost things of the house. She says to her brother "Jared", Stop committing such type of the mischiefs! It is not a reasonable act! Saying it, she leaves from there. Whereas , this has not been done by "Jared". "Jared" finds a key in it when he looks there after leaving his sister. There was also a little wooden hand lift at the same place. "Jared" moves upward, going into it. He reaches upstairs in a room. There was an ancient box there. It has such a sign on it which was also on the key. Actually it was the private room of writer "Spiderwick". Where he used to write his books while sitting there. "Jared" opens that box, using that key. Then there is the same book of "Spiderwick". Which had been sealed by him. There was also note which was stuck with that book. There was written word "Warning" on it. It means , "Spiderwick" does not want anyone to open his book. He also gets one more message, Leave this place "Jared"! "Jared" is worried, reading it. And all things lying his side begin to move. His search light begins to revolve. Lifting that book, he immediately comes to his downstairs room. Coming into his room, he is covertly reading this book. Suddenly, he hears the shouting of someone. It was the shouting of her sister. When "Jared" and "Simon" move to their sister's room, They witness a very mysterious sight, Someone had badly tied the hair of her sister with the bed. His sister says to her mother, It has surely been done by "Jared". But "Jared" knows it that he did not come there. So he becomes more upset thinking there is some entity in this house. Next morning, "Jared" starts to read that book again. There was written about some magical creature. It was tiny . There was also written in it what it likes in food. "Jared" also reveals it to his sister but she makes fun of him. "Jared" thinks , It is possible that creature may be in the same room where I found this book. So he goes to that room, taking honey and other edible things. Going to that room, he begins to wait for that creature. But no one appears there for a long time. So "Jared" falls asleep. When he wakes up after a while, He checks that his brought edible things are not there. It means that magical creature had taken away those edible things , coming there. But there were some fallen pieces of edible things on the floor which are observed by "Jared". He begins to chase them. When "Jared" goes follows those pieces of food, He encounters a tiny magical creature which was in the book. And it was eating Jared's placed cracker and honey. That creature hides itself, seeing "Jared". It makes itself unseen. "Jard" asks it about the written book by "Spiderwick". Seeing it, that creature is flown into rage. And its colour is turned into green. It asks "Jared" furiously, Did you open the seal of this book? "Jared" replies, Yeah! What is wrong in it. That creature says , You should not have opened it! "Jared" offers it one more cracker . Eating it, that magical creature begins to tell it. It is wrong! I had also forbidden "Spiderwick" to not leave this book as it is. I had asked him to perish this book. But he ignored my words and sealed it. What is the benefit of seal. It is opened by the kids like you! Now I can say nothing about the monstrous creatures which are after this book. I am not the responsible of it. Because those monstrous creatures are worst. And they will soon use the trick in bad activities, taking it from this book. That creature says to "Jared", Come near the window ! I show you something. This creature tells that there is a drawn "Fairy circle" out of this house. The monstrous creatures begin to attack them who will cross this fairy circle. Then "Jared" notices that his brother "Simon" has crossed that fairy circle. And someone is taking him away while dragging. Because that is not able to see. That magical creature gives a thing to "Jared". Look through it! That you will be able to see the monstrous creatures. Some monstrous creatures are dragging his brother when he looks through that thing. "Jared" says to his brother, My brother! I am coming to rescue you. So he goes to the ground floor. Reaching downward, "Jared" glimpses a cage there. There was imprisoned "Goblin" there. It tells "Jared" that, There is our opponent who wants to get that book written by "Spiderwick". He is very brutal who killed all members of my family. Then "Jared" asks it, Who is your opponent? Tell me about him! Then goblin demands, Free me from this cage at first! Then "Jared" frees it. Then the scene takes turn and "Simon" is observed. Then "Simon" is shown who is caged. There were also little monstrous creatures around that cage. Who are calling to that brutal man. Because that monstrous creature had enslaved some goblins. That brutal man approached there at first time. Who wanted to get the book of "Spiderwick". He is an elder man and says to "Simon", coming to him. Tell me about the book. Where is that book? "Simon" says, I don't know . It is in the possession of my brother. That old man clears , I will not let you go until you hand me over that book. Then "Simon" says to him, I will bring the book if you let me go! If you release me then I may bring the book for you. Sop that old man releases "Simon". He immediately runs to "Jared". And he begins to snatch that book from him which is in his hand. But "Jared" is not handing him over the book. The quarrel is started between them. Meantime, those little monstrous creatures arrive there. They begin to chase them seeing that book is in their hand. Now these two brother were running forward. And those monstrous creatures were running after them. Now both brothers "Jared" and "Simon" come near their house while running. It means , they come in the fairy circle where these monstrous creatures could not attack them. Then they both notice that their sister is standing out of the fairy circle. They call her in that circle but she says, Don't tease me! At the first sight, those monstrous creatures begin to attack her. But she is not able to see them. When she senses as someone is attacking her in her surroundings, She begins to move her sword in the air without any direction. But the monstrous creatures were not stopping. Doing so, when her sword is stained with green blood, She comes to know that there is surely a weird creature around her. "Jared" throws a thing towards her through which the monstrous creature could be seen. So that girl begins to attack them , seeing them through that thing. And she enters the fairy circle. Now they all three come inside. Then "Jared" and "Simon" tells her sister that, The monstrous creatures want to snach the book of "Spiderwick" from us. Then their sister says to them, hand this book over to them! Do you like book more than your life! Hand them over the book and get rid your life from them! Then that magical creature appears there which was found in that room by "Jared". The same creature who eats cracker. He is again turned into green here. Because it did not want to give this book to those goblins. Because all monstrous creatures were the servers of that old man. That old man can end all of us! There was hanging photo of Spiderwick's daughter. Then "Jared" and his sister tell that we will meet her. She is alive! And she is in the psychiatric hospital. She may help us. But the main problem was how could they step out of the house. Because goblins had surrounded the house. So the tiny magical creatures tells them about an underground tunnel. They can escape secretly through it. it also gives them a map. But he says to them before their going outside, Leave the book here! Those monstrous creatures will snatch this book from you if you take it outside. So "Jared" locks that book from where he had taken this book. They all three "Jared", "Simon" and their sister move out of the house. They begin to move to that underground tunnel. "Jared"had still that book in his hand because he had placed another book in the box not this one. They start to run in the underground tunnel. But the goblins had also witnessed them. And they start chasing them. There was also a lizard like creature among the monstrous creatures. The begin to go after them., And when they come out of the underground tunnel. So it also comes out of the tunnel. At the same time, a vehicle hits him. And he enters the underground tunnel again. Now they all move to that psychiatric hospital where Spiderwick's daughter was present. When they show them a book, going there. She asks, Are you living at my house? She takes all of them into a room covertly. The little fairies begin to appear as they open the book. The shocking thing was this the hospital in which Spiderwick's daughter was living, There was also drawn the same fairy circle around her bed, Now she begins to tell her past here when she was youngest. She tells , My father "Spiderwick" drew a fairy circle around our house, Because goblins used to irritate us very much. One day, I crossed that fairy circle while playing. My father saved me in some way and he sent me into that fairy circle. But he himself remained out of the fairy circle. The number of fairies reach there and flew away, taking him. I don't know where is my father? Believe me! I cannot help in matter of this book. Because it was written by my father and he only knows the mystery of it. I was thinking this either my father will ever come back or not! Look! You came. Now help me and search my father! I know that young generation of today can accomplish any task. They are still talking with one another, seeing on the book. Then goblins arrive here. They start to snatch the book from "Jared". And the book is torn into two parts. "Jared" gets one part while other part of the book is taken away by that goblin. They all are anxious after being afraid. Their mother comes there. And she takes away her children. Now "Jared" is talking with that goblin, Which was freed by him. It tells that old man have got the half part of this book. Now he will begin to misuse it. Then Jared's siblings approach there. They ask, With whom are you talking? Then the goblin , sitting on the tree which was released by "Jared". It spits on their face. Then Jared's siblings had to see that goblin. They begin to read the book, coming inside. There is an animal of feathers named "Griffen" in that book . "Jared" tells that "Griffen" can take us to "Spiderwick".

 There are some written lines on the paper and "Jared" starts to read them. Then "Griffen " appears there. They all three sit on it and it begins to fly, And it will be incredible for you that "Griffin" really takes them to "Spiderwick". They meet "Spiderwick" , going there. He asks them, How did you know about me? Then "Jared" tells him that your daughter revealed to us. Then "Spiderwick" says, Don't make fun! He says, My daughter is in young age of 6 years old, How does she know? Then "Jared" tells them that 80 years have passed, And your daughter is now 86 years old. Then "Spiderwick" says, Really! Too much time has passed. Now tell what can I help you? Then "Jared" asks him, What should we do this book. Goblins are after this book. "Spiderwick" says, Then "Spiderwick" tells, There is no need to be worried. Goblins cannot take it until it is in the fairy circle. Neither that bad man can touch it. "Jared" tells them, They have taken away some pages of the book. Then "Spiderwick" is very shocked. He says, You committed a blunder! Now they will come inside the house soon . How can I help you standing still here? I Cannot come outside because I have been taken here by the fairies. I live in this World now. I will be turned into dust if I move to another world. Now they come back and drive to their house in a car. So the monstrous creatures may not assault them. They have investigated many things on these monstrous creatures. The spread salt which was shown everywhere at the start of the movie, It was the reason behind it. That the salt used to cause the blindness of the monstrous creatures. Now they begin to spread the salt and sauce in the bottle. Because sauce used to be the cause of the pain for the goblins. Their skin begins to prick. But not much time had remained . Because this fairy circle was going to disappear, misusing those book pages. No effect is going to leave behind by Spiderwick made fairy circle. Night falls and it happens the same. The monstrous creatures begin to move towards the house checking fairy circle has removed. But the salt is spread around the house and out of the house door. Which was spread by Jared's siblings. They are unable to step inside due to this. But they begin to enter from the underground area. "Jared" and his siblings had sauce which they start to pour over them. Their skin begins to prick. As a result, many monstrous creatures meet their end. They three of them lock themselves ,going inside one more room. But the head of the goblin which was that worst man, it had changed into a horrible creature, It enters while cracking the floor. It begins to attack them. Then these kids fill a machine with a large quantity of sauce and salt. And they light a fire below it. Consequently, that machine is exploded. That salt and sauce spread over all present monstrous creatures there. As a result, those goblins are killed. But the head of those creatures had already fled. They notice that their father has come as they come out of the room. Who had separated from them. He instantly come to "Jared" without uttering a word. He directly says to me, Give me this book! Then "Jared" suspects that, And he stabs him with a knife. He checks the blood on the knife is of green colour. He was not his father but the same head of those monstrous creatures. It begins to come into its real form and changes into a frightful creature again. "Jared" goes into the hand life without any thought, And he starts to go upstairs room of "Spiderwick". That frightful creature puts its hand into the lift, At the same time, the lift moves upward and its fingers are dismembered. Being aggressive, it is turned into a snake. it begins to chase "Jared" , turning into a snake. He begins to move forward, observing "Jared". But that tiny magical creature appears there. It begins to stop it but that snake like creature throws it away. So it is badly wounded due to this. It again starts to go after "Jared". "Jared" comes upward and moves to the top floor. Unfortunately, he slips from there and the book loses its grip by him. At the same time, that frightful snake like creature is changed into a bird. It means that bird begins to fly, catching that book. Then that goblin observes there which was freed by "Jared". It was fond of eating the birds. So it eats that bird. Which was th head of all goblins . So it met its end here. And the book is dropped there. everything had come to its routine. All monstrous creatures had disappeared. And they had also no head. Which was going to irritate them. Now their house was secure, They may come in or out when they wished. They bring that old lady, the daughter of "Spiderwick", going to psychiatric hospital. Because this house was belonged to her before. So she is extremely excited. And she may restore her mental health. She also meets that magical creature. She converses deeply with others. She says, I am wishing , Would that my father had been there. Then it is seen that "Spiderwick" had come outside. And there are little fairies around him. But he says to his daughter, I cannot stay here . Otherwise, I will be turned into the dust. I will have to return back soon. His daughter declares, I want to accompany you! Where will I reside here. "Spiderwick" holds his daughter's hand, And she is transformed into a little kid. "Spiderwick" moves up to the World of fairies, taking his daughter with him. It is seen in the World that, Mother starts living happily with his daughter and sons named "Jared" and "Simon". There was no threat and no monstrous creature in the same house.
