A taxi driver "Spencer" arrives on the scene at the start of the movie. Who is waiting for the passengers in his cab near the airport. He receives the taxi booking mobile applications. He declines the male's requests among them. He reaches the location after accepting the request of a girl named "Cami". He drives away, lifting "Cami". "Cami" makes a video call to her mother on the way. Her mother tells her about the passed peaceful events, wishing her good luck. Actually , Cami's parents have divorced. And she stays along with her mother for a time while other time period, she spends with her father. At this time, she is moving to her father. "Cami" begins to communicate with "Spencer" after the call. "Spencer" continues to converse with her. After this, "Cami" informs him, That she is wanting to have a rest for a time. "Spencer" asks her as " Cami" wakes up after a while, Did she sleep well? She says, No! Then "Spencer" begins to converse her more. "Cami" takes it strange and starts feeling uncomfortable. She feels irritation because of Spencer's conversation. Afterwards, she holds a pepper spray , taking it from her hand bag. She also sends a message to his father for her security while writing, That she is not taking her taxi driver as a gentleman. "Spencer" is talking awkwardly. And he continues to act strangely as applying the drops into his ear. "Spencer" tells "Cami" while driving that, There is an activity of hunting nearby the area. "Cami" replies that she does not take interest in guns. "Spencer" tells her that he is fond of hunting! He also dislikes the guns so he likes to use the crossbow. He also tells that this weapon causes the immediate death of the people. "Cami" asks him, In which hunting is he interested? Then "Spencer" applies the car brake with full force so the car is stopped. Both are scared. After it, "Spencer" checks after getting the car off. What is it? Getting the car off, "Spencer" discovers nothing. So he gets in the car. Now both are feeling fear. "Spencer" tries to turn on his phone but in vain. Neither the car is starting. "Cami" thinks that "Spencer" is perhaps doing it deliberately. After this, taking her luggage, "Cami" comes out of the car. And she herself thinks to move ahead. After a time, she notices a road where the different board signs are adjusted on it. There is also seen a way passing through the forest. But "Cami" starts to go ahead on the main road , ignoring it. She also notices the road sign messages on the main road. There are the mysterious road sign messages as "Keep going", I dare you"," He can see you" etc. Here "Cami" hears the approaching steps of someone. Being afraid, she starts to run. Contrarily, There is strange male figure is noticed behind the car of "Spencer" where he is seated. He has a smiley white mask on his face. Realizing the presence of that male figure, "Spencer" comes out of the car. He checks, moving to the backside of the car. There is a message on the back window of car. This statement is , "Please pay the Toll man". "Spencer" thinks as "Cami" has written this statement to make him afraid. Shortly after, "Cami" approaches there while running. "Cami" tells him, She has got these photos from the bag of "Spencer"! After this, "Spencer" and "Cami" begin to argue with each other. She asks "Spencer", Why does he keep a crossbow in his car trunk? He tells that he is fond of hunting so he keeps crossbow in the car. He is unable to communicate nicely so people take him wrong. He says to "Cami as she is treating him as he is a serial killer! Here "Cami" notices , those photos have misplaced from the car. Then they both hear a mysterious laughter sound. Both are afraid, hearing this laughter sound. "Cami" apologies "Spencer" and tells that she trusts him now. "Spencer" says to her, its okay! And the man is in their surroundings of the car who has written that statement. They may be prankster who are pranking with them. "Cami" says to "Spencer" , They may want to kill them! There was the same occurred incident on a desolate place with her friend's friend. Where some people had attacked him. Then that friend had escaped, rescuing himself. "Cami" tells her, How they entrapped in the same circle , reaching the repeated place. And that aged woman should help them. She also tells that, There are many adjusted road sign from where they old woman was coming. Old woman replies, there was not a road sign! Here that aged woman says to them in fear, She cannot help them any more! They are standing face to face but in the different directions! "Spencer" and "Cami" are afraid of this fact. And that aged woman says to them, They are now in the direction of "Toll man". And she also tells that "Toll Man" needs only "Death". They are more disturbed by this. That old lady also declares it that, "Toll Man" himself had called them in this direction. Because he had sensed the death. That lady also says it, One of them will have to die today! And death is the toll of "Toll Man". And they both are on his road. She tells that once she had encountered "Toll Ma" at a time so she has awareness about it. That aged lady was survived from Toll man but she can see his direction because he had touched her . This old woman says to them, They both can see her by touching. "Spencer" shoots an arrow on "Toll Man". And he gets no harm. Now he is proceeding towards them. "Spencer" and "Cami" both run to that cabin, escaping from him. Where "Spencer" reveals that he has familiarity with this cabin. He used to visit here along with his mother in his childhood. "Cami" also feels after staring at it as she has also visited this cabin. It is the created illusion of "Toll Man" which is indicating as they have met nearby. Now "Spencer" and "Cami" move into that room of cabin. Where the small monitor screens are there. A boy and a girl are seen in one of the monitor screens which is switched on. They have put on the bird masks. "Cami" finds a gun, sitting there. Bird masked girl begins to show them some message cards , standing up. It is stated on the card, "Don't turn your back on "Toll Man, seeing him. While the other card statement is , He will kill both of you now! Now the video clip of monitor screen changes and they both appear in it. They also notice that camera through which this video is being recorded. It is shown on the monitor screen as "Spencer" is going to kill "Cami". Then "Cami" points her gun on "Spencer". Here "Spencer" clarifies her, It is not real! It is just an illusion which she is glimpsing! "Cami" says to him, You had placed the crossbow in the car because he wants to kill her. Here "Spencer" again explains to "Cami", It is just an illusion! "Cami" is convinced at this time. After this, "Spencer" says to her, They should get in the car. "Toll Man" will be unable to notice them. When they see out of the cabin, they catch the sight of that couple wearing the bird mask. "Cami" had also to visit to the hospital. Even she had to encounter the police. And they all are recalling those incidents to "Cami". Now "Cami" is badly worried due to these facts. They immediately disappear from there. "Cami" notices aged "Cami" all of a sudden. Who is on the hospital bed. This aged form of "Cami" says to her, At last, everything has ameliorated in the life! And the guilt has finally been recovered in the end by "Cami". Here it is revealed that "Cami" has the repentance for all those incidents. Which is irritating her., This repentance was spoiling the roots of "Cami" . This aged "Cami" says to real "Cami", She must commit suicide! So she may get rid of this repentance. here "cami" comes into her senses. And she kills aged "Cami". Raising up, "Cami" observes that "Spencer" has come there. Now they escape from here. They face many models of human beings on the way. They are all alike "Toll Man". Here "Toll Man" also appears. They also glimpse the aged ladies on the way while running. Who start running after them, holding the knives. "Spencer" and "Cami" hides themselves in the car, reaching there. They begin to cover the car , using the black cloth and sticky taps. Here Spencer's mother starts to hit a doll on the car window, coming there. She says to "Spencer", she also hates him! Along with it, "Cami" notices her father and friend. Who begin to upset "cami, recalling the previous time's incidents. They also view those old ladies, holding knives. Catching their sight, they immediately cover all car windows. Now they wait for the arrival of dawn. The car is started within this time. Here "Toll Man " shows them a message in the parking camera. This is the statement, check the time! Here Spencer's cellphone is automatically turned on. "Spencer" tells, It is the same time when their car had broken down. Here they both come to know that time of this direction is going on different. There is a gain a statement appears in the parking camera that, One of them will have to die to satisfy "Toll man". "Cami" says to "Spencer", One of them will have to die if any one of them wants to secure his life. Here the story reaches the climax. "Cami says to "Spencer", He may go now from here. Because it is all the mistake of "cami". Here "Spencer" says to "Cami, No! It has all happened due to "Spencer". Hearing it, "Cami" is shocked. And she asks "Spencer", Why is he saying it? "Spencer" replies , He had brought "Cami" here for this purpose, So he may kill "Cami". Knowing it, "Cami" begins to flee, coming out of the car. After this, "Spencer" follows her. "Spencer" shoots an arrow on her. Consequently, "Cami" falls on the ground being targeted. "Spencer" checks that "Cami" is still alive. Holding an arrow, he proceeds her. "Spencer" meets his end while "Cami" loses her consciousness. Coming into her senses, "Cami" observes that there is also police and her father. And they are taking her away while rescuing. Leaving that place, "Cami" glimpses that aged woman whom "cami" had asked help. It means, that aged woman was there for help. It also means that "Cami" has released from the World of "Toll Man". And toll has been paid in form of the death of "Spencer". Now the good fact is this "Cami" had got rid from her repentance. Here the movie completes on this scene.
